Ulrich N. Brandl, President of the Bavarian Hotel and Restaurant Association, emphasized that Bavarian tourism and the service industry will continue to focus on service quality in the future. “This is the decisive competitive tool of the future and an important location factor. The awards signal to guests that they come first. They enhance the image of the individual facilities and strengthen Bavaria’s reputation as a first-class vacation destination.”

Service coaches trained

The “Service-Quality Germany in Bavaria” initiative starts with the service processes and the software, as it says in a press release. As a first step on the way to certification, quality coaches are trained in a seminar to lay the foundations for certification in their companies and organizations. The quality seal is available in three levels, whereby higher levels entail greater requirements. The seal is awarded for three years. Not only tourist enterprises, but all service providers as well as municipalities and cities can participate.
Karin Schlecht, manager of the congress house, was – also in the name of her whole team “very pleased” about the award.
